Your refiner can only refine what your mixer got right.

Every fineness problem that shows up at the ball mill traces back one step. If sugar, cocoa liquor, fats, milk powder, and additives enter refining unevenly blended, no mill setting downstream fully recovers the batch. Mixing is the unglamorous stage where batch consistency is actually decided.
The Alpy Preparation Mixer is built for exactly this job: heavy-duty mixing elements that handle high-viscosity chocolate and compound masses, sequential addition of liquid and powder ingredients by weight, and complete homogenisation before the batch moves to micronisation. Construction is food-grade stainless steel throughout.

Take the operator out of the weighing
Two options turn the mixer into an automated dosing station:
- A loadcell group with hydraulic platform, weighing each ingredient addition to specification
- A powder raw material feeding system, dosing powders automatically rather than by hand
Together they make every batch a repeat of the approved recipe — the difference between “the recipe” and “whatever the night shift weighed.”
Pairing it
The PM series is the front end of Alpy’s Chocoline continuous systems and feeds both Conti and Batch ball mills directly. Match mixer batch size to mill capacity — our engineers will confirm the pairing for your throughput.
