Spinner Moulding Line

Hollow chocolates and 3D figures, with the wall thickness under control.

Specifications

Model Capacity Note
Spinner — 1×holder 5 moulds/min 1 mould per holder
Spinner — 2×holder 10 moulds/min 2 moulds per holder

Hollow chocolate is a seasonal goldmine and a production headache in equal measure. The product is mostly air, margins are excellent, demand spikes at Easter and Christmas — and every thin spot in a shell wall becomes a crushed figure in the carton and a claim from your retailer.

The Alpy Spinner Moulding Line exists to make hollow production behave like normal production. Filled, closed moulds rotate through the spinner group while a special vibration process distributes the chocolate, producing uniform wall thickness across every product. Uniform walls mean predictable weight per piece, predictable strength in packing and transit, and a reject rate you can live with in peak season.

Multi-colour 3D figures

Add optional 3D figure depositors and the line produces hollow figures in two or more colours — the detail work (eyes, decorations, colour panels) deposited before the main shell is spun. It is the difference between selling a hollow egg and selling a character, at a character’s price point.

2 moulds per holder10 moulds/minute

The dual-mould holder doubles output with no additional floor space — specify it up front if seasonal peaks are your business model.

Standard stations

  • Mould heating tunnel
  • Chocolate depositor with vibration
  • Mould closing unit
  • Mould reversing unit
  • Spinner group
  • Mould opening unit
  • Capsule feeding group
  • Shell heating tunnel
  • Cooling tunnel feeding system and cooling tunnel
  • Line feeder
  • Mould opening group
  • Vacuum system mould unloading group

Note the last station: demoulding is vacuum-assisted, because hollow products that survived spinning shouldn’t break at unloading.

Optional stations

  • 3D figure depositor with vibration and horizontal cooling tunnel
  • Granule-type feeding unit

Hollow production is a niche, and we are happy to talk you through it honestly — including whether your volumes justify the line. Bring your seasonal forecast.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the spinner line keep hollow wall thickness even?
Filled, closed moulds rotate through the spinner group while a special vibration process distributes the chocolate, producing uniform wall thickness across every product for predictable weight and strength in packing and transit.
What output configurations are available?
A single-mould holder runs 5 moulds per minute and a dual-mould holder runs 10 moulds per minute, doubling output with no additional floor space — worth specifying up front if seasonal peaks drive your business.
Can it produce multi-colour 3D figures, and how are pieces demoulded?
Yes. Optional 3D figure depositors let the line deposit detail and colour panels before the shell is spun, producing figures in two or more colours. Demoulding is vacuum-assisted so spun hollow products are not broken at unloading.
